An easy way to create an interactive calendar would be to use a Yahoo! Calendar. It's as simple as setting up a new Yahoo! Account that you don't even have to use for email! The only drawback is that you will have one more place to log in to create the calendar. I think it's worth it, though, because the Yahoo! Calendar provides you with many features that you couldn't get just by creating a table-style calendar on your own.

For including a special character in your site title, you can just place the character code where it belongs:

Le Français would output Le Français

 

For including special characters in your pages, you must click the html button in the editing section. You can find the character you want to replace, highlight it, then past in the character code and hit update. This will include the character on your page.
